Sol Center Opens Enrollment for 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ, UNITED STATES, August 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Sol Center, a Tucson-based yoga, meditation, and mindfulness studio, today announced enrollment is open for its 200-Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Program, beginning Friday, September 18, 2026. The program is designed for students seeking Yoga Alliance certification as well as those pursuing a deeper personal practice without the intent to teach.

The training spans seven months through March 2027, structured around nine weekend immersions and a weekly course each fall, along with practice assignments and portfolio check-ins between sessions. The Sol Center prioritizes in-person instruction, with some live-stream content available to support the coursework.

The curriculum draws from classical yoga texts, contemporary science, and the teachings of Rama Jyoti Vernon, a recognized figure in the development of yoga in the United States. Coursework covers anatomy and physiology, alignment and energetics, classical technique, Sanskrit and mantra, yoga psychology, philosophy and mythology, meditation and yoga nidra, Ayurveda and dinacharya, ethics, sequencing, and teaching methodology.

The Sol Center is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with the national Yoga Alliance. Graduates of the 200-hour program are eligible to register as a Yoga Alliance credentialed teacher (RYT-200).

Tuition is $3,500, which includes a Sol Center Community Membership from September through March and five mentoring sessions with faculty. Early bird pricing of $3,200 is available for enrollments received by August 31, and a monthly payment plan is offered.

The program is led by Sol Center Director Natasha Korshak, E-RYT 500, YACEP, ICM, alongside a faculty that includes Kristina Hook, E-RYT 500, YACEP; Ayurvedic doctor Ann Wagoner, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500; Mark Benavidez; and Danielle Rain Dvorak, E-RYT 200.
