A Settlement has been reached with American Renal Management LLC d/b/a Innovative Renal Care (“Defendant” or “IRC”), in a class action lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges that between February 21, 2024 and March 1, 2024 there was potential unauthorized access to sensitive personally identifiable information of IRC employees, former employees, and patients (the “Data Incident”). The Plaintiffs allege negligence, among other claims. The Defendant denies all allegations and any wrongdoing.

If your personal information was identified as being potentially impacted in the Data Incident, you are included as a Settlement Class Member.

If approved by the Court, the Defendant will pay $900,000 into a Settlement Fund to resolve the Litigation. The Settlement Fund will provide cash payments and credit monitoring for two years to Settlement Class Members who submit Valid Claims as well as all Administration Costs, Service Awards, and attorneys’ fees and expenses. Cash payments include compensation of documented Out-of-Pocket Losses of up to $5,000 per Settlement Class Member and/or an estimated $100 Pro Rata Cash Payment.

You must submit a Claim Form by December 21, 2026 to receive Settlement Class Benefits. Claim Forms must be submitted online at www.IRCSettlement.com by 11:59 p.m. CT, or mailed postmarked by December 21, 2026. Visit the website for complete information including how to submit a Claim Form.

If you do nothing, you will not receive Settlement Class Benefits, you will remain a Settlement Class Member and give up your rights to sue the Defendant for the claims resolved by this Settlement. If you don’t want any benefits, but you want to keep your right to sue the Defendant for the claims resolved by this Settlement, you must opt out. If you don’t opt out, you may object to the Settlement and ask the Court for permission to speak at the Final Approval Hearing. The Opt-Out and Objection Deadline is November 20, 2026

A Final Approval Hearing is currently scheduled for February 1, 2027. At the hearing, the Court will determine whether to approve the Settlement, and attorneys’ fees and costs.
