Twenty-six Louisiana community-based organizations received a combined $702,633 in grants from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas’ (FHLB Dallas) Partnership Grant Program (PGP), part of more than $1.8 million awarded across FHLB Dallas’ five-state region. The Louisiana grants were celebrated today during an event in New Orleans, Louisiana, as FHLB Dallas marked the program’s 30th anniversary.
The grants were awarded in partnership with 18 member institutions.
“The PGP amplifies the generosity of our members, enabling nonprofits to expand their reach and deliver greater results,” said Greg Hettrick, senior vice president and director of Community Investment at FHLB Dallas. “Our collaboration with member institutions is at the heart of community progress, and the PGP is a powerful tool for advancing that mission.”
Under the program, FHLB Dallas member institutions contribute $500 to $5,000 to a nonprofit, and FHLB Dallas matches those contributions at a 5:1 ratio to provide up to $25,000 to the organization per member.
The PGP may be used for:
- Organizational capacity building
- Assistance with applying for grants and other funding sources
- Research and studies
- Contractual services
- General operating expenses
The following community-based organizations were supported in Louisiana. Actual member matches may be higher than what is reflected here if the contribution exceeded the allowable match funding amounts:
