The Meadow Club Donates Catering to Village Cup Regatta for Fifth Consecutive Year

PORT JEFFERSON , NY, UNITED STATES, September 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Long Island Hospitality and Event Management Company Continues Community Commitment While Booking 2026 Holiday Parties and New Year’s Eve Celebration

According to the American Cancer Society, an estimated 67,530 people in the United States will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2026 and about 52,740 will die from the disease. Pancreatic cancer accounts for roughly 3 percent of all cancers in the country but about 8 percent of all cancer deaths, the organization reports. The Port Jefferson Yacht Club’s Village Cup Regatta has raised more than $1 million since 2010 for pancreatic cancer research through the Lustgarten Foundation and for the Palliative Medicine Program at Mather Hospital.

The Meadow Club, a hospitality and event management company based in Port Jefferson Station, is proudly donating its catering services to the Port Jefferson Yacht Club’s Village Cup Regatta for the fifth consecutive year. This year’s regatta, the 17th annual, takes place Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Port Jefferson Harbor. Over the past five years, the event has become something The Meadow Club’s entire team genuinely looks forward to and is proud to support.

The Meadow Club has been part of the Port Jefferson Station community for decades and has grown into a versatile event and hospitality venue serving Long Island. It hosts weddings, milestone celebrations, cultural events, corporate functions, fundraisers, holiday parties and community gatherings, customizing each one rather than offering a one-size-fits-all experience.

Beyond the venue, the company has expanded its catering and event management services. Its team produces on-premises and off-premises events and handles menu development, staffing, rentals, logistics, setup and service so clients can enjoy their event while the team manages the details. Menus range from traditional American and continental fare to Indian and multicultural cuisine for families, organizations and celebrations across Long Island.

“The Village Cup has become something our entire team genuinely looks forward to every year. Hospitality is about bringing people together, and being able to use what we do every day to support such an important cause makes this event especially meaningful to us. Five years later, we’re incredibly proud to still be part of it and to continue giving back to the community that has supported The Meadow Club for so many years,” said Kiran Wadhwa, Executive Director of The Meadow Club.

Heading into fall and winter, The Meadow Club is now booking corporate and private holiday celebrations for 2026 and will welcome guests for its New Year’s Eve celebration to ring in 2027. From intimate company gatherings to large-scale celebrations, The Meadow Club offers customizable menus, full-service event planning and flexible event spaces. Its off-premises team can also bring the same level of service and hospitality to offices, private homes and venues throughout Long Island.

Supporting the Port Jefferson Yacht Club’s Village Cup Regatta is an extension of that philosophy. Guest crew and reception tickets for the 2026 regatta are $75, and sponsorships range from $250 to $25,000 through the Village Cup registration page.
